Sometimes, patterns appear. I couldn’t resist taking a few moments the photograph the iron gate and the recurring arch brickwork that leads down this ally.

I can find few words that can describe homelessness. Making my way down the concrete stairs and almost fighting the hustling crowd, all of us making a path down one side to avoid the gentleman. head in hands, squatting, fearful and alone among the thousands that walk on by. I feel his anxiety and yet…

Personal Feelings

Borough Market London. The following 3 images have been processed to reflect my personal feelings. If you follow any of my ramblings in other Blog posts (see Autumn Blog for a dreamy image), you could infer that I love being outdoors and in open spaces. I have a slight fear of being in situations where crowds and/or enclosed spaces occur. Am I agoraphobic? I don’t know, I’ve never discussed it with anyone except my wife.

I’ll avoid situations that cause me this anxiety. I’ll often use avoidance where I can or, as I’ve learnt over the course of my life, a coping strategy in which you see here; seeing the world through the lens! A very personal way to capture those horrible anxiety thoughts in the camera, and not in me.
